Brussels, 4 December 2020 – Today, the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime (the Coalition) is happy to announce the membership of the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT), FinTech FinCrime Exchange (FFE), INTERPOL, Open Ownership and Western Union.

This brings the total membership of the Coalition to 18 organisations and further reinforces and expands its expertise in the areas of corporate treasury, FinTechs, international policing, beneficial ownership transparency and international money transfers. Each of these organisations plays an important role in the fight against financial crime.

Coalition Chair John Cusack said: “I’m delighted to welcome our five new members to the Coalition. Each member adds a unique understanding of financial crime risk and adds further weight to the Coalition, as we focus on promoting more effective financial crime solutions.”

ABOUT THE EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF CORPORATE TREASURERSlink
The European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT) brings together 23 national treasury associations, representing treasurers in over 6,500 companies. The EACT is the voice of the treasury community in Europe, representing the financial professionals of the real economy vis-à-vis European authorities.
