Honouring Hennie Verbeek-Kusters

The Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime (GCFFC) received over 20 nominations for the 2025 Financial Crime Fighter Award, a historic high. The final decision was made by past winners, and the GCFFC is delighted to announce that Hennie Verbeek-Kusters is the recipient for this year’s prestigious recognition. As the former Chair of the Egmont Group and Head of FIU–Netherlands, Hennie led efforts to advance the secure sharing and exchanging of information by financial intelligence units and foster international cooperation. Her leadership brought innovation and impact to FIU–NL and over 170 FIUs worldwide.
