Asia Pacific Chapter of GCFFC Improved Structure

The Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime (GCFFC) has strengthened its Asia Pacific (ASP) Chapter with a renewed structure designed to deepen regional collaboration, enhance subject‑matter expertise, and accelerate cross‑border responses to emerging financial‑crime threats.  The ASP Chapter’s mission is to advance financial‑crime resilience across Asia Pacific by:

  • Strengthening cross‑border intelligence sharing and public-private partnerships to address increasingly interconnected financial crimes such as fraud, scam, sanctions‑evasion, and cyber‑enabled threats.

  • Elevating regional standards through evidence‑based policy recommendations, practitioner‑led insights, and public‑private collaboration.

  • Championing innovation in digital‑asset governance, sanctions compliance, fraud prevention, and emerging‑risk detection.

  • Building a multidisciplinary community that connects regulators, law enforcement, financial institutions, and technology partners across the region.

Together, this structure positions the ASP Chapter to deliver coordinated regional leadership, practical expertise, and forward‑looking governance at a time when financial‑crime risks are accelerating in complexity and scale.
